My mom pointed out that you can't post comments unless you have a gmail account, so I've changed the settings to allow anyone to comment on my postings. :)
So as it turns out the previous nights good rest was a fluke. I tossed and turned like crazy last night. I think I may have achieved a couple hours rest. I had this constant tickle in my throat which made me cough. Then I'd get up get water think I was fine only to lay down and the cycle continued. I'm not sure what the problem is. I imagine my throat is very irritated from all the crap that's been draining in to it. I may have to try some cough medicine tonight.
Some good news I have complete feeling in the left side of my upper lip. It's the weirdest thing. I felt along my lip, nothing, nothing and then bam sensation!! The rest of my face is still fairly numb. It keeps tingling and pinging away so I know the little nerves are trying their hardest to work again. I knew this was a definite side effect of the surgery but I didn't realize how much you can miss sensation especially on your face. It just feels like I'm wearing a heavy mask which is also I'm sure due to the swelling....but I have confidence the majority of sensation will come back in the next couple of months. I have to remind myself that I'm only on day 14.
