Second Night and Freedom!!! (Thursday June 2nd/ Friday June 3rd)

The second night in the hospital was better, but still not a lot of sleep. In the morning they served me my liquid diet with a syringe to feed me. That took some practice and patience but I soon got the hang of it. I was discharged from the hospital at around 3pm. It felt so good to get out of there. When I got home the first thing I did was take a shower. The simple pleasures in life are magnified in these kind of situations. I then attempted to eat my first Vanilla Ensure, which would be the first of many! Ensure tasted quite good after practically starving for two days. I had my syringe to feed me. I was quite the site trying not to dribble all over myself but managed to get some down. I attempted to go to sleep but I was up every couple of hours. It's not the easiest to have to only be on my back and my nose was super congested it was hard to breathe. But I was still  so happy to be out of the hospital and home I didn't really care.
