In the morning my mom and Brad came I was in rough shape. (picture to follow). I looked like I was in some crazy MMA fight! I didn't leave my bed that much I was nauseous and dizzy. They did remove my cathetar that morning as I needed to show them I could use the bathroom on my own before they discharged me the following day. Success! (not sure if you needed to know that). I'm so thankful that my mom and Brad were there. They made sure the nurses took care of me, I got what I needed. It was made apparent that all nurses are not created equal.
In the afternoon I was wheeled down for dental x-rays to check to see how everything looked. Everything looked great! YAY! The rest of the day was spent doing not a lot of anything. I was equipped with my pad and paper to try and have some conversations. At one point they attempted to take me for a lacroscopy procedure which was meant for my roommate. Luckily that was caught when my I.D. bracelet didn't match up. Other than that the day was spent in bed, resting.
